Forget APM click-rates and base building. Konflikt is an indie wargame engineered around deep, simulation-driven tactical mechanics.

Suppression & Morale

Fire is primarily about pinning, not just killing. Incoming bullets build suppression, shifting unit states from Calm to Worried, Stressed, Pinned, or Routed. Pinned units seek cover and ignore orders, while routed units flee the field.

True Line of Sight

Real heightmaps raymarch vision checks across a 2-meter grid. Terrain type and height field height determine occlusion. Units hiding inside forest edges or building cells stay hidden from spotters until they make movement or fire.

Logistics & Supply

Ammunition is finite. Main battle tanks and ATGM missile squads carry limited stocks, making logistics a core operational pillar. Supply trucks and dumps establish rearm zones to restock empty combat lines under fire.

Armor Facings & Flanking

Vehicles model complex directional armor protection: front, side, and rear. Shell penetration checks compare kinetic AP power against impact angles. Command your armor to face incoming fire, or flank with IFVs to hit vulnerable spots.

Battles are won through disciplined maneuvers, structural flanking, and logistics management.

Deployment Phase

Arrange your company inside your deployment zones. Analyze elevation lines, locate defensive cover, and conceal vulnerable assets before initiating the simulation tick.

Fire & Pin

Suppress the target to break their readiness. Direct heavy machine guns or vehicle autocannons on defensive pockets. Once the threat enters a Pinned state, advance assault teams.

Maneuver and Flank

Avoid direct frontal engagements with heavy main battle tanks. Utilize wheeled speeds on road axes to maneuver ATGM elements or IFVs into flanking angles, attacking weak side and rear plates.
